Music is a feeling, an emotion and it's personal! I mix melodies & sonic scapes to Escape us into our own personal cosmic space. It is familiar but yet unfamiliar with blending & bending global genres together! It's an experience with Memories!
Grew up in Southern India 🇮🇳, near cauvery river banks once ruled by Chola's Kingdom. Tiruchi as a town I remember was green with paddle fields with over flowing river banks. I wasn't sure whether the sounds of the river or smooth melodies of Composer Ilayaraja was better. I sat next to the "Philips" cassette player that my dad bought me for hours of listening, during school summer holidays.I intern'd freely at "Devi Electronics" during high school summer holidays just to listen to Ilayaraja, Michael Jackson's music coming from 4 ft high speakers. I still do! I didn't know that's what you call falling in love with music! haha! Although early influence of Indian Film and western music and great artists always moved me, inspired me, told stories and gave special feeling!
With me dabbling on learning carnatic to western vocals, keyboards to dj controller, I can say that playing, creating or mixing music is something I love!Living in the USA 🇺🇸 for more than 2 decades and learned from Berklee College of music gave me best cultural and great taste for global music! Which I shared over
a weekly iHeartRadio Show!
If I give you a great experience spending a night way with awesome DJ set ,
